Depression at Denny’s is a bedroom pop project by some kid named Annie. It isn’t clear if it is the red haired Annie from that famous musical, but I believe not; as this Annie sings way better.

Not only does she sing better, also her written song is adorable and cute. She explains that when she sung this song to her ‘crush’ on the memorable date of 2/13/14 her crush reacted by kissing her. Annie might have been happily surprised by this reaction, but hearing this song with my critical reviewers ears I totally think the kiss was justified.

Not only Annie should be happy with the response, but I guess Annie’s crush was also very happy and charmed by this lovely piece of sing and songwriter performance. Let this  song by Annie be a lesson to all who don’t know how to shine through to their crushes that they have a crush on them; write a beautiful, pretty song for this person and sing it and maybe you too will be happily rewarded with the sweet gift of a lovely kiss.

This ‘taken out of real life’ song almost melts my heart..
