The latest album by the one and only lobit legend The Cryovolcano brings the legend back to the floppy pops of tops! Self-released on a good looking tropical pink floppy diskette; the mega producer uses every bite, byte and bit to bring you only the best of lobit pop material. In the size that normally only a magnifier could see this artist manages to fold complete music structures of robot pop with lots of human tendencies together like a progressional miniature model builder. But if miniatures are small, The Cryovolcano’s music sounds incredibly big and powerful.
The Cryovolcano sings his robotic mega pop hit in a melodic way with sensitive harmony full of love. There is something very fragile and honest about it, leaving the motor oil and mechanics aside and letting the human controlling The Cryovolcano do the expressionistic business in a structure that is friendly pop, and yet DEADLY serious.
The main melody of the first song has something that goes by the feels of failure, a melodic silliness that could easily be interested to everyone out there having trouble making sense of the craziness of their lives & the cuckoo world around them.
But in all honesty i also imagine Charlie Chaplin acting in a strange music video for this anthem of loser’s ship. I just imagine him with his mustache, round hat, walking stick and rather big shoes doing a funny walk each and every time the melody starts. Someone must make this as an actual video clip for this hit that clearly carries this release into the underground hit parade.
The wonderful The Cryovolcano than delivers something that will make you feel loved from toe to the top of your head, all around your aura and back again. This “Vicky & Roxy” is such a beautiful electronic piece that simply reaches with ease such a beautiful and lovely atmosphere in pure mellow melodic ways that it’s like a true love song without words. A subtle baseline gets carried away with the great use of magical honesty in lover’s synthesizer sounds; it’s probably the loveliest track ever to be released on a floppy diskette! If I had to describe it in symbols instead of words it would be simply a salvo amount of ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
For the longest and final session of miniature biggies the mega producer brings out a track that really feels made for the paranoid strange world we live in or get fed through the media; a strange American vibe in which police are out there on the age (you can hear the sirens!) and everybody is on their own in order to survive. The bass that The Cryovolcano delivers to get this paranoid dark world across feels like a weapon, ready to make our chests hard so no bullets or other bodily harm can be achieved while we roam these dodgy (and perhaps dangerous!) streets and alleyways like robotic gangsters observing the madness in a state of immortality.
The more we go through this futuristic police state which turned humanity in feared sheep and everyday people into paranoid maniacs; the more power The Cryovolcano adds in its melodic toughness. The Cryovolcano transmits his inner punk, robotic and stable stamping away, fearless in a world that had gone insane! And while he does this he protects his fans, listeners, lobit, pop, and floppy lovers until death (which will never come as The Cryovolcano is definitely immortal! This release proofs it!) .
If there should be some conclusion to be made over here, it probably would be that this self-released album is a must have that shows seemingly three sides. Human honesty and silliness, love and loyal protection! Much more noble and excellent an album cannot come! Unless if The Cryovolcano is working on a follow up! But for now I really recommend you to hear and if possible GET this phenomenal release as damn this is something else!
