Radboud Mens & Matthijs Kouw’s ‘1’ is a great showcase of these two individuals collaborating together to create two ear-friendly sound sculptures that slowly evolve and progresses with harmonic harmonies of a psychedelically pleasing order. It’s music that grows and will grow on you, almost like a magical bean that turns into a gigantic beanstalk that you could cling to as it grows, taking you up in a smooth paste to find a oasis of ambience finest at its heights height.

That’s the power of ‘1’, the skill of building things up in a way that goes so naturalized that it almost makes you forget that you are listening to music & that it is nonstop evolving into a bigger production in which hallucinative explorers can feel right at home. Just settle yourself in for the unexpected flowering up of the music & feel those psychedelic tones rubbing themselves into your (obviously) well willing receiving ears. Thanks to the skillful sound art of Mens & Kouw; Wonders of audio will be yours!

This must experience instant classic ambient album is available on good looking & sounding vinyl, as well as a digital version from Amsterdam’s finest experimental ambient label Moving Furniture Recordings. A great DIY label with great taste, so better support it in order for being able to tell everyone that you’ve got good taste too! This ‘1’ is for sure delicious!
