Keywords: experimental ambient drone electro-acoustic film music noise Augsburg

Hello! Are you ready for some elaborate blabla session? Gosh got I got some blabla for you… let me throw in a keyword so the blabla can live it’s own way… ah yes, the word to engage in this blabla meltdown is “honesty”… let’s set the blah blah words free and see what happens:

I like and enjoy honesty, to me it’s important to be fair and sensible. Not in real life of course, but here on this ‘hear all the music in the world & write something about it’ mania. Sometimes we might overreact for overreaction-sake, but nobody will gain really something from lying or bullshitting in a music “review”. Well, that’s what I think & keep it as a important value in all these music transcriptions. It’s lots of fun saying someone has a great voice while obviously the artist sounds like a smoked up pipes piper with asthma, but other than slaying the obvious; I prefer to be honest. It’s also the most fun… honesty is either the golden ticket to success or the first in row for a one way ticket into a lunatic asylum.

I like it also if musicians are honest, or (probably as a result of musicians being honest) hearing honest music. Gosh, how happy that makes me feel; hearing honest made music by someone who is honest… honestly, I wish all music was like that; the cheesy pop factories might vaporize but real talented self schooled artists would flood the radio with their honest material. I know I’m just mumbling here, & if you read it along; you are very brave and honestly deserve some kind of medal for your delightful presence and obvious lunacy. But hey, let’s just chat along cause why not? What was I typing about?

Ah, yes… honesty. blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah…

You can hear it if something is made in a technical sense showing off technique and learned skills, but even though it might sound amazing, if it means that he person behind it is lost in it’s production, the devices, the machines used & the knowledge that is learned etc, it simply doesn’t mean it’s honestly any good. But if something is made by a heart, personality in a sincere and honorable honest form, things like quality or the instrument of choice is more unimportant as it’s honest… and that’s the twinkle of magic that makes a release so good and magical.. lack of it; it’s a piece of shite no matter how many billions the record had cost to be made…

Honestly, I’ve been blah blah-chatting and typing my head away like a chicken without its actual head. So maybe I should do some more. Might I inform you that I might be a bit drunk? Tipsy to say the least? But you know what they say about drunk people; they say the truth… a big part of honesty, eh? blah blah, much?

Talking about honesty: I liked this blah blah album over here a lot, from the early beginning till the very last bit; it was even honest in how it was send in, with the genres described by the honest sounding artist as:

“ehhh…ambient, prog, drone…stuff? I’m not really sure to be honest, maybe you can help 😐 ”

So yes, who can resist this honest call for help by a musician audio trip creator of this honest caliber? Of course I can help; let’s say it’s “Honest stuff” , psychedelic for sure, but you know not just your average piece of psychedelia; its the honest devotional kind. Hoped that helped a bit, but in all honesty; it probably didn’t. I don’t think drunk or tipsy people are the best helpful idiots out there… but in honestly; what the hell do I know? I do seem to know how to blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah…

Shall I blah blah some more? Yep, let’s do it:

On my part, I have to say that it’s honestly very difficult to describe this release. I could try and tell you what I hear or what it does to me, but with tripping things like this I feel you should really just hear it for yourself. It’s like suggesting someone a good book to read; the text of the book might be the same, but the movie in the mind (that it should generate!) would probably be a lot different.

Anyway, that it’s difficult to describe music is probably a thing perhaps that counts for all music and it’s many genres, but in a way; this is different from all of that as well ; this album really features the kind of music to focus on, comes at you the best when it’s heard while being completely undisturbed in a silent environment, a place in which you can sit back and soak your ears calmly with this delicate honest sounding soundscape (ah look another so called genre box to tick!) as your lovable friend who is there for you.

You should forgive my blah blah cause admittedly It’s also hard for me to describe the actual happenings within the trip, as it’s too much joy to just hear it, feel it and believe it. You know, music that is much more a joy to hear and experience than watching a dumb movie of some kind. A trip in which abstract sounds will take your imagination on a journey, one that is absolutely personal, meaning that your “movie” in your mind (the one that it hopefully will generate) will be different than mine.. maybe it’s the same, but honestly; it rarely does. I regularly dream up stories about purple hippos and albino giraffes, you see?

What? Ah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah !

‘Bone Satelite’ is the first one, though! One that just feels so friendly and honest to me, one that made me think of sitting in a warm bath with its bubbles being spiked with potential psychedelic inducing materials. It might make you talkative, or let’s say it might make you feel like you will be okay doing lots of ‘blah blah’ about it. It does this psychedelic take over with so much ease that it’s almost as if it’s thought through by some kind psychiatrist that had invented the perfect way to get your mind away from the regular things, by filling it up with a wonderland of easy to the ears sounding honesty. Time simply fades away, making life a bit more into a pleasant comfort zone than if you had to sit next to someone like me who would blah blah your head off…

I don’t know, I’m just loving it. The honest sounding soundscape, the blah blah write up (yep, I’m bowing on a chair giving myself shoulder taps!) and basically all that these tracks are giving to me upon hearing them… it’s quite bizarre probably, but somehow it’s very relaxing and not forcing anything down your throat; it’s like a very kind and honest backdrop that had left genres and expected predictions away to always give something that sweetly keeps the mood up in a fine and gentle way…

So yes in a way, this blah blah might be way too much & of course too long & full of blah blah… but this music is the opposite of all this nonsense. It’s a serene audio world that compared to trying to read all this (and the unnecessary headache that it might provide doing so) must feel like a real relief to hear… very warm, very kind, very natural, non distressed and superbly pleasant in a very, very, very honest way… until the very, very, very end of the album; than it suddenly slaps your face in, punches your skull just so you know never to completely trust anything that is sounding so honest! here is without further blah blah the link to find hail and peaceful honesty in:
