Oh oh oh oh oh… it just doesn’t happen every day to hear such stunning music. And I don’t mean that it stings like a bee, but you know; it touches me fondly. My heart is being reached with those sensible tones brought by this kind artist named Jim wylde. His ‘Sewn Shut’ track has such a serene truth over it, that it’s hard to shrug your shoulders and let it slide off; it just goes in like a moment in which respect for the artist is well deserved… emotionally touched by music; when does that ever happen?

But what about being emotionally touched by noise & music at the same time? When does such a thing occur in a person’s life? I guess if you take on the invitation to listen to this work by Jim Wylde you probably might exactly experience this in all its full glory. With his track named Trace you will get get served a great emotional sounding combination of crackling scraping noise and a beautiful melody that you might think; wow, what did I do to deserve all this? And the answer is that you simply had followed a link, clicked it and played it… isn’t life amazing?

But don’t worry if you might think this is just going to be ‘it’ because it isn’t… I mean Jim Wylde pulls out everything out of his emotional cupboard and placed it all out here in music form. With his composed material named ‘vapour’ you might even get a twinkling teardrop squeezed out of your eye socket! I mean, this man is on a devotional emotional roll, jowly smokes this ain’t no lie!

When you might think, how on earth could there be possible more; Jim Wylde delivers even more! Extends its emotional works with a ‘pulled under’, a warm loving melodic work that feels so friendly and kind that if it wasn’t a track, I would have sworn it to be a musical friend! You know, one of these friends that you could hang your head on, one that holds you close when you need it the most; someone who sounds amazingly approachable and kind! It’s so good to have such a track included on this album, it really makes me feel like I’ve been blessed by some kind of god who knows exactly what I needed and wanted! So beautifully done this music, it just doesn’t knows any ends in it’s warm loving sounds…

More delightful goodness comes with ‘signals’ , one in which the legendary Jim Wylde drops more sentimental love in melodic music form. It is here that it feels as if the man himself hangs his head over a piano, brought out his hands and let them play and twinkle in order to play something that is close to the man’s heart. More deep and dense goes this release with ‘This Blood’, a track that feels as mysterious as a mythological mystery and as kind and loving as a love letter from a pure person who had his balls crushed between a dramatic love letter of some kind… I know, things might be better described over here, but trust me the music is so intense that it makes normal thoughts as good as impossible.

What follows is ‘maps’ and it’s here that I try to look into the further road of how to make this write-up / review into a sensible one… but all I could do is looking blessed with what he had been feeding my ears, a fruitful expression of soulful ambience expressed in musical sounds that I loved so much… it made me look up from the track and has thoughts of writing a love letter to Jim Wylde, as whoever makes such great and honest expressions of melodic music is absolutely worth to live a beautiful life with!

When the next piece named ‘notations’ came to life it was like there is no cure for my love for Jim’s music; hopelessly hooked, holding on to every music note that this (obviously) wonderful man had been playing in to my ears… the composer had made my heart melt, making me feel all fluffy and kind inside; what a beautiful beauties each and every single one of them! Every track feels like a proper blessing, what on earth could a music loving person wish for? A pair of ears to simply hear it all? In any case, the harmonic happenings done here was so outstanding that it felt like Jim Wylde was a god creating some kind of heaven in earth!

The last and final composition on this album is ‘slit’ one that might be described as the darkest one on this album, but yet refrained from getting too dark it was more like a settlement covering that sadness that might crawl into you when you realize that this is the final track & afterwards there is simply no more from where this had came from… its living up to its sentimental value and I bowed down in pure sincerity to this album and its creator!
