Hi dear adventurous adventure people! How are you doing today? Are you ready for a little drive into this album by Strange Stains? Or are you making strange stains a s we speak?

Did you say something?

….

WHAT DID YOU SAY? Does the first track on this release make you feel like you are in a eighties underground movie? The one in which everyone has goofy plunked up hairdos, dope in their heads and there is lots of good times to be had? The ones in which bright colours are happily plopping around on a diverse amount of spandex, suited to dress excitingly bad attitudes that won’t take shit from no one, but are all over the place?

Oh.. you didn’t say anything like that at all.. well that’s alright, as I haven’t said these things either. I just wrote it down, cause that’s what I felt & that’s the most purest you can get reaction-wise.

But perhaps I’m on the wrong road… maybe I should have stayed in the safe lane of listening to what we already know and not going for a right turn into the unknowns? Maybe not, as it’s much fun to be wrong, to drive in the opposite direction of anyone else and hear the music that all ears had turned around for. It’s an exciting event with simulating sounds, weird televised words from the retro days and modern day sassy wobbles that could flatten all your tires. Can you show me on the map where I am? I certainly can’t point out where you are at the moment.. follow the strange stains and we will find answers.. so where are we?

Oh yes, that’s right. We are here on a blog that tries to write about music. Should have made a next turn straight to the highway, but nope: instead of that, we are all here together in a traffic jam full of lost unpretentious words, stuck with our vehicles of obvious good intentions in the lost layers of subterranean insides. Epic sounds of vintage synthesiser kinds are lightening this place up as if we are locked in a video store section featuring a full amount of old school memories, tears and attempts of belonging. Wordless hums can be heard too as these synth vibes pour softly the drama all over heads as if we didn’t have anything else to worry about.

The feelings of being lost, of hoping for a vhs rental place revival and begging for reruns of the A-Team all got saddled up to ride through this moment of nostalgic horse riding. The horse doesn’t have any legs, but softly slides through this moment in time over a bed of melted hearts and disappointed hopeful hopes. Will things ever become alright again? Gosh, we don’t know where we are now.. but let me look at you for answers..

Oh yes of course just as expected! Is that really all you could think about? Lookibg into your eyes I didn’t expect to see a visualisation of sex. We see the claps and the slaps, the rhythm in which all the action is happening. And while we swim and observe your dirty thoughts, strange stains is taking out the cutting edge tongue and starts to poke it in your eyes. No forgiveness can be heard here, she will humiliate you and make sure you will wash your legs and mind next time when you are coming in the zone of sexy thoughts. There is no room for pathetic perverted ideas in your eye balls… it’s the portal to the soul – goddamnit!

It’s time to clean up our acts of losers goo as we meet the Child of the coloniser, a dark sentimental encounter in which an high stigmatic character hangs out in sound form. With a rhythmic twist of certain positivity the child comes to us with a new sign of civil hope, of shame for what the parents did and a distilled stubborn mind to never ever be like them. We all praise this effort tremendously.. in fact this encounter impresses us all so much that we hardly have noticed that we had stumbled into someone else’s house. Hope it wasn’t that clean as we are quite handy on proving strange stains all over the place..

Luckily we get some heavy claps in our face to realise our mistake. Also the claw trap that had locked around our ankle upon entry (and now drags around us with every step that we make through the house will make) will for sure makes our unofficial visit doesn’t come unnoticed. We will have some explaining to do when we make our way to the hospital in order to request to either remove the device or amputate our unfortunate foot. All in all an open minded (and eared) visit into ‘Bogan Atmosphere’ is not something you should take so lightly; it’s together and yet all over the place. If it’s worth the removal of a leg? Well; hell yeah! But think about all those blood stains… Do you think it was worth to get lost about? Certainly! Adventure awaits, just follow the trail of nostalgia and hop straight in:
