The true personification of the meaning ‘friendliness’ comes straight at you when you hear the music by Chris Pellnat, it’s simply like a gentle person that lovingly holds an umbrella over your head as he helps you with a lovely smile upon his face, taken you by the hand ready to cross a busy road without a problem. I don’t know about you but I’m feeling it and appreciate it too!

it’s the lovely music as done, made and performed by a obviously true gentle soul that makes this image of goodness over here, with a voice as lovable as the word ‘trust’ would imply. This is the material of an artist that comes without a secretive double agenda, clearly one who is in it for the love and not for anything else. A sincere music maker and song writer with a pleasant to the ears voice that only incredible distasteful kind of mad people wouldn’t enjoy.

To all others it will go in like candy, something you don’t need to check the ingredients from as you somehow know it’s safe and wonderful to consume. The flavours full of handmade galore, grown to your finest flavours, ready to please the people who are open and recognise and appreciate humble brilliant kindness when it’s happening in front of them.

When Chris Pellnat sings ‘hold me now’ a mentally healthy person will have no second thought to give him a hug, wrap their arms around This artist and give him a good hearted squeeze of true friendly appreciation. I would do so too if I had the chance, but maybe giving this album (as it lays here so nicely on a tape or minidisc) a hug on its own, would also be a sensation that might be as close as the real deal. Saving us a mission to find this caring eccentric with a soul full of lovable love & incredible music and song writing skills who happens to breaths out music like a mastermind undercover as a man with true manners.

Who wouldn’t be happy to hold this music in their arms in physical shape and form? Only the clueless and the heartless maybe, as everyone else would probably be super eager to hold this pretty album all to their chests like a bunch of true passionate treasure trove hunters would do! In a cruel world like this one that we are surviving in its of the few things that you can rely upon.

Every song, every bit of music on this album is clearly done with a full spectre of love, sincerity and without masks or egos. A thing that is a rarity to be fair, probably not even aware itself of how excellently brilliant and great this artist’s music actually is.

It is clear that the songs on this release by Chris could not be executed by anyone else than him, as only this artist could perform these lyrics without sounding blatantly cheesy . Chris Pellnat does deliver everything so naturally, with a flair that has honesty written all over it, one that will make you feel as if have found yourself the perfect trustable romantic music maker to be fully in awe with. I have a feeling that him knowing that you or me are a fan of this album might be awkward for him to hear, so I hope this artist won’t be too freaked out by my words over here. If so; bless him! As he comes across fearless!

As With an easy sounding touch he sets out the inconceivable performance to deliver lyrics like these: ‘which universe do I deserve, it can’t be this one cause you are here, but here I am and I’m your man; a cosmic joke on you my dear’ and does this all without problem, sarcasm or sleaze; making the entire momentum into some kind of untouchable cult status that deserves respect and should be cherished as there aren’t a lot of artists around that could pull these lines off like Chris Pellnat does so easily and naturally over here. You simply got to admit; its simply impressive!

The lyrics and the deliverance of them is sheer genius, but Chris Pellnat brings them to life like they are there just because he has to put them out of his chest, delivers all with passion and energy without sounding forced – making everything sounding so natural and easy… A thing that comes back within the actual music that easily carries these songs, ones that are swinging in lovable quirkiness, bringing the whole caboodle of whatever this artist has around to create the sublime sound of a innocent gentleman with a heart of gold and a kind hearted lovable attitude that can convincingly carry a textual line like ‘everything sounds so unreal – I’m not sure if I’m capable to make a meal’.

This all is absolutely gold! I mean it’s crazy (maybe it’s the rain title) but I think Chris pellnat’s music is on the level of the musicianship of the artist formally known as prince, just without the whole secrecy, the make up and high heels and seemingly the awareness of knowing how great it all is! Maybe he might be considered an outsider artist, but trust me anyone in their right mind would do themselves good by letting him and his songs and music straight in! He would probably wipe his shoes and leaves his umbrella neatly folded at the front door! Melts my heart!
