Stars Die, People Die is one of those albums by Only Swallow that contains tracks that you won’t even need to chew. They all go down as smooth as a smoothie, simply as if you had washed your ears with a welcoming layer of soap that had removed all natural friction to the point that it simply had become non existent. It also helps that all of these music pieces are of a kind that naturally you won’t feel resistance towards, there is no gag reflex whatsoever when these gentle melodic ambient realms slide down your body.

All of them are having their own identity and case of existence, bound together by the way that they carrying themselves, all with a certain beautiful beauty and wise gracefulness, so much so that it will make you feel as if you had been sensually touched by the music of a natural phenomenon, probably produced by a wise old owl with a heart of gold that knows the secret of perfection, of kindness, prettiness and smooth wonders & has the skills to convey it all in wonderful pieces of music.

The most remarkable thing is that the eleven tracks on this collection are the ultimate friends for a session of relaxation of the mind, body and soul, yet it is pure listening material that is so miraculously wonderful that you won’t fall asleep in a usual state of boredom, if anything; you will just feel hopefully relaxed while thoroughly rinsed and inspired by all the different approaches of music that has similar results at the end. It’s a collection of togetherness and creativity, keeping the head entertained while massaging it at the same time. Slight piano pieces, audio snippets, vocal integrations, warm woven tones, melodic melodies, experiments in flavor and emotion.

They are all beautiful and kind, but to me personally the one named ‘second earth’ is the one that grabs the attention the most. It’s a very intense emotional piece, firmly grabbing the heart with two hands, protecting it, fixing it and when ready; letting it go with a intensive case of a uplifting boost that made me feel like a repaired angel, flying around without problem or effort through the rest of the album.

I can’t find any critical thing to say as the care and love that had gone in each of these audible wonders is consistent, full detail and severely recommended when in need for wise kindness in music form. Absolutely stunning! You can die in peace after listening to this album; that’s how important and satisfying it is. Check out the heartfelt music over at the following link:
