Petunia-Liebling MacPumpkin is the 20th century ghost of dreams and fantasies, stuck between memories of the glorious heydays for super malls and the all round politically incorrect entertainment of circus freak sideshows. She lost her heart in this special zone that she knows best as ‘Uncanny Valley’ and obviously is spending lots of time there these days. Not only because home is where the heart is, but also all her friends seem to hang out there, always waiting for her arrival at the gateways.

For anyone not being previously aware of the enigmatic Petunia-Liebling MacPumpkin, her friends are a varied bunch. From musicians with fish heads, good looking mannequins, various ventriloquist dolls, Perot, bearded Australians, maybe some singing house plants, a shiny robot… she has indeed a broad group of multiculti friends accumulated through the years, all seem to have one thing in common; they are quite out of this world and wouldn’t look out of place alongside MacPumpkin on her trip of joy in Uncanny Valley.

But apparently Petunia-Liebling MacPumpkin has also many friends beyond her favorite place to stay, as with this remix release you could enjoy another fine collection of individuals in their playtime with her. For example a poisonous chicken (out of all characters!) who holds her hand with its wings as they approach Uncanny Valley in a new light. Just like Dorothy in the Wizard of Ozz the friends who join along all come with their own skills, flaws and fun. Petunia-Liebling MacPumpkin might not have found her heart yet, but doesn’t come short of bravery and good companionship! Such as the super intriguing Renaldo & The Loaf who probably made not only our dreams come true but also that of their friend and fan MacPumpkin. They invoke true happiness with a menacing ‘haha’ and a deliriously fine sound that is raw as a chainsaw and yet delicate like a bad boy on acid. With friends like this around Petunia-Liebling MacPumpkin can roam around freely in her favorite psychedelic realm as Renaldo & The Loaf will spook away anyone with the slight inch of bad intentions in mind!

Also to join her posse here is good buddy Vertigen, who meets the bunch as they crawl through the crawl space. Vertigen got it that finger snipping flair coolness to add, the vibe of mysteriously cool, of sunglasses at night and spiders as pets. Another excellent pall that comes to join to spice up the party Kevin Busby who provides Petunia-Liebling MacPumpkin and friends a lift over the highway with sounds that would evoke an immediate erection Gary Numan style! Doesn’t matter if you are a male or a woman: the boner of synthesizer greatness will drive us harder than any viagra could do! All genders sword fighting with their Kevin Busky’s generated hardons like there is no tomorrow! Our palls at Weirdest band of the world still can’t get their sausages in sleep position since they heard this friend of Petunia-Liebling MacPumpkin doing its thing.

For a more chill out attitude our hero also meets up with the friendly Commander Zillack who gives a new shape and form to the Bermuda Triangle. Thanks to its command nobody of the friends nor Petunia-Liebling MacPumpkin herself will get lost, crash on an iceberg or sink to the bottom of the ocean. With steady flow of rhythm this commander sails the sea with crew of friendship into the shores of safety.

The last friend on this adventure that joins the gang is Spectral Fern Plaza, giving the power to finish the trip towards the finish line with a proudness that rises heads high. Petunia-Liebling MacPumpkin and friends hold hands as she sings with full heart and soul what she is and how wonderful it actually is.
