A few kisses ago and I was just soaking up in a puddle of sweat, but some kisses later I tuned into The Doll to make the stream of body generated liquid into the colliding lubricant to let the sounds of music in. Not that it needed any lubricant as The Doll provided a nice mixing match of sensible love with a sturdy improvisational rawness that feels humbling but also penetrating the senses in a very determent on-your-toes-kind-of-way.
Once in The Doll simply gets a little sharper around the edges, possibly cutting the sides of your inner parts ready to make it bleed like a true punketeer whose heart might have been shredded in sensible heartache, now expressed with a wild eagerness that seeks out the balance between lovingly caressingly sweet to a hunger that is greatly ready to bite your ears off. It’s a melting pot of two extreme emotions captured mostly by voice and manipulation of this instrument of the human body & expressionistic noises that beep itself out like the nicer sides of sheer feedback.
There is something to it that will intrigued the easily distracted listeners with this humanness that has many faces, all not at all afraid to pop out for a true case of realness in sound form. The Doll simply shows a human side that is sincere and sweet but at the same time shows the strength of an beast that doesn’t let its bread eaten if it doesn’t wanted it to be eaten. Be aware that listening to someone exposing one’s heart can be a humbling yet dangerous sensation.
Just like the adorable doll Chucky will be all cute and cuddly in the toy department, but might want to play with a knife while you won’t expect it! A few kisses ago is one of the reasons I can’t sleep & a whole new generation of sweat had gathered, but you know what? that’s perfectly alright!
